Description of Byggis.se

The purpose of this Internet application is to help creating contacts between buyers and sellers in the building business. Those who want to know what companies are selling a certain type of products or services can with this application find those suppliers and contractors. After that the application gives the possibility to create and send an Inquiry Quotation or another type of message to those suppliers and contractors.

All suppliers and contractors in the building business have the option to get their company data included in the Byggis.se database.

A short description

The application consists in pricipal of three functions

1. Search suppliers / contractors
2. Create and change own company data
3. Contracts

Cookies are used to store your acceptance of Byggis cookies, which language you prefer and your contacts.

Search Suppliers / Contractors

Search page

In general

With this page you can search for suppliers and contractors and then click your way to their web-site or send E-mail, possibly a Quotation Inquiry.

If you fill in more than one search field they will be treated as if there was an AND between them. If you say fill in Telephone area code 08 and choose Building stores then the result will be all building stores within the 08-area code (and not all that have area code 08 and all building stores).

Maximum 50 hits are shown.

The result page consists of the companys name and web-site and E-mail address if they exist. The companies are listed in alphabetical company name order.

Company name

Specify one or more characters of the company name searched for. For example: if you in the search field specify:

anDers      

the result page will consist of all Andersson and all Anders. The search field makes no difference on capital and lower-case letters. In general the fewer characters specified, the more result lines can be expected.

Organizational number

The organizational number is specified as usual with 6 digits, hyphen and 4 digits. The organizational number should not be used in combination with other search fields.

Place of business

If the supplier / contractor has specified that the business is carried out in certain places (and not entire Sweden) you can here specify a place or part of it.

Postcode

Specify the first 1-3 digits of wanted postcode.

Telephone area code

Specify required area code. If any of the suppliers / contractors 3 telephone number consists of this area code, the company will be shown in the result list.

Product name

If the supplier (/ contractor) has specified product names, trade-marks, etc, you can here search on the entire or part of the name.

Other

If the supplier / contractor) has specified something within other, you can here search for it.

Groups of goods

This is a select list for searches within a group of goods, consulting group or

contractors group.

Search

When you have specified the search criterias, you click on Search (or press Enter) to get the result.

Result page

In general

Here you can click in the check box far left for the company you want to send an E-mail to. Then the companys E-mail address is shown in the text box far below. (If you click once more in the check box it becomes unmarked but the E-mail address still exists in the text box far below and comes with the other E-mail addresses to the E-mail program.)

The following data are shown on the result page if the company in question has these data in the Byggis.se database:

Company name

If you click on a company name you will get "all" data on that company.

Postal address

If you click on a postal address you will get "all" data on that company.

Tel

Here the companys first telephone number is shown. If you click on a telephone number   you will get "all" data on that company.

Fax

Here the companys first fax number is shown. If you click on a fax number   you will get "all" data on that company.

Web-site

If you click on www for a company you are opening that companys web-site.

Email

If you click on mail for a company your E-mail program will be started with this companys E-mail address filled in.

Send Email

Click on this button when you have clicked in the check box for one or more companies and your Email program will be started with these companies E-mail addresses filled in.

Show a company

In general

Here are "all" data about a company shown.

The companys E-mail addresses and Web-address are clickable to start the E-mail program or going to the companys web-site respectively.

Change / delete

If this is "your" company, you have the possibility to change or delete the data by clicking on this button.

Show my company

In general

If you want to delete all data about your company, click on I want the following data about our company to be deleted, and Send and the data is sent by E-mail to Byggis.se for deletion from the database.

Otherwise fill in all data and click on Send.

Please fill in Choose password for future changes: to be able to make your own changes in the Byggis.se database in a future version of Byggis.se.

When your data arrives to Byggis.se we will control it. If we have reason to believe that that the data does not concern the own company, we will not carry out the changes / deletions. This is done for security reason so that unauthorized persons should not be able to change other companys data.

Add your company to the database

If your company does not exist in the Byggis.se database (you do not find it when you do a search), you have here a possibility to fill in all data and click on Send When Byggis.se has processed the data and put them into the database they will be available for search.
